Book #2: Encyclopedia of an Ordinary Life

Encyclopedia of an Ordinary Life Encyclopedia of an Ordinary Life by Amy Krouse Rosenthal

My review

rating: 5 of 5 stars
Can I give something 10 stars? Please?

Seriously, now that I've read this book, any flitter of thought about me writing my own memoir is now buried. Amy Krouse Rosenthal has already written something so original — but yet something so accessible and heartfelt, that I can merely just reread, smile and nod — satisfied that someone else told my story so perfectly.

Hmm, sounds like a good one. I think I'll pick it up sometime.

I also work with someone who has the same name, so at first I was like "What?! She wrote a book?!" Alas, it is a different person.

You know an Amy Krouse Rosenthal? Seriously though, read this book. It'll take you all of 24 hours. It's written like an encyclopedia with entries in alphabetical order and cross-referenced. I read it in about 36 hours, but I re-read 90 percent of the cross references.
